Staying Safe On Your Compact Tractor

To stay safe on a compact tractor, follow these tips:

  • Review your surroundings and check for any obstacles, children, or animals in the area.

  • Keep sparks and flames away from the fuel tank and engine, and do not smoke while refueling.

  • Do not allow extra riders on the tractor.

  • Use ROPS and seatbelt whenever and wherever applicable.

  • Be familiar with your terrain and work area.

  • Know your tractor, its implements, and how they work.

  • Store additional fuel in a well-marked, safe location.

  • Keep the tractor clean and well-maintained.

  • Wear appropriate clothing and safety gear, such as sturdy shoes, gloves, and eye protection.
