How to Dispose of Your Tractor’s Hazardous Waste

You always want to make sure to properly dispose of hazardous waste materials.

Hazardous materials in your tractor include, but are not limited to:

  • Coolant

  • Front axle gear oil

  • Engine oil

  • Diesel fuel

  • Transmission hydraulic oil

  • Brakes

  • Tires

  • Dust

  • Battery

  • Brake fluids

Improper disposal of hazardous waste materials can threaten the environment and ecology.

You also do not want to break any environmental protection laws.

To properly dispose of your tractor’s hazardous waste materials:

  • Make sure to use approved, leak-proof containers.

  • Do not dispose of any fluid waste materials in any drains, on the ground, or in and around water sources.

  • Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with the guidelines of the local (city, county, or state) environmental or health agency, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other relevant governmental bodies.

If you need any further help or have any questions about hazardous waste disposal, tractors, or anything else, please contact your dealer, local mechanic, or call us at 602-734-9944. Please ask about our current new and used tractor supply.
